Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I have a plan.

Jolinar was the one with Martouf, and Sam got Jolinar from a male host.

Jolinar just happened to be hiding out in that body. I'm pretty sure if it was Daniel or Jack trying to give CPR, S/he would have just as readily taken them over too.

Perhaps gender doesn't really matter all that much to the Symbiotes themselves, excpet to the extend of their host's compatability with a chosen partner's host body, gender-wise that is.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I liked Martouf -- he was sweet. Dead now, right?

Oh yes. If they kissed Sam, they're pretty much dead at this point. Jack got a pass, but then he only kissed an alternate Sam, so he got to die and then come back.

Sounds probable ... especially if you (symbiote) know you could end up driving hosts of either gender. You'd have to be sort of flexible that way.

ETA:

Poor Sam. (And dead Kissers of Sam)

Jack got a pass, but then he only kissed an alternate Sam, so he got to die and then come back.

He also got to kiss Sam during his Ground Hog Day-athon. Got out of that one too thanks to the miracle of time travel. Wonder how many times he really managed to do that before the overall problem got fixed...

Yeah, once he got the burning urge to perform pottery out of his system.

OK, can't wait to see this ep so I can make sense of the performing pottery thing. I love that I haven't seen so many random eps. Makes it so much more fun.

I have a plan.

"Window of Opporunity" ranks as one of my all time favorite eps. I would love to tell you more about it but that would take the fun out of watching it yourself. Hopefully you'll catch it sometime soon.

Somebody remind me tomorrow to ask vw to tape for me? They're actually showing the two episodes that I've managed to miss every single time they come around (and it's been around more than Mae West)... and I'll be off getting my head shrunk. Well, or if Theodosia should happen to check in, I guess I could smile sweetly and flutter my eyelashes and she'll be so overcome with worry that I'm having some sort of episode...

Okay, I'm going to bed. Why am I still up?

(Thomash, I think it's probably "Can't Lose", unless this is some special satirical Onion-type remake of Parker Lewis which... I'm going to bed now. I am. Soon as I can get off the couch.)
