They need to get Jane back on board to write all of Anna's scenes, because Jane writes such good geek girl, and I feel like there's something missing from Anna's characterization. (Or maybe it's just that I keep expecting them to have the best-friend rapport of Willow & Xander, and it feels odd that they've just met. Or something.)

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Holy mother!!!!! Is this true????
'Suela and the other 'Scapers' position is that it is not officially true until the press conference actually happens. Once the conference happens, it's almost certain to show up on SaveFarscape.com.
With the very large percentage of the cast that's here in town for the con, there's a strong possibility they may make the announcement today or tomorrow, in front of all the 'Scapers in attendance.
(Speaking of which, Gigi Edgley was at the bar last night, though at a totally different table, so I never spoke to her. She was very wee and adorable, and had her grumblegrumbleboyfriendgrumblegrumble in tow.)

I'll be in the back sacrificing a goat just in case.
From Eonline Thursday:
FAR AND AWAY!: That Farscape press conference we told you about yesterday, during which producers were going to "announce an exciting new development in the campaign to continue" the franchise, has been postponed, a rep for the Jim Henson Company confirms. But never fear, 'Scapers. Sources tell me the media event will be rescheduled for sometime next week. (And trust me, it'll be well worth the wait.)
Just saw the Farscape "Back and Back and Back to the Future" and while it is a good episode, yeesh everyone was SOOOO right - that Jazz Dance fight scene was appalling. What were they thinking? That made late era Buffy fight scenes look like Jet Li or something. Gawdawful.
Also finally getting around to some of the bonus materials. It's a real trip to see or even just hear what Anthony Simcoe is really like. Watching him put on the D'Argo voice without the makeup was even funnier. NOTHING about him would ping D'Argo with me (though I'm sure his height in real life would be impressive) if I didn't know.
I loved hearing him talk (in his Australian accent) about how the D'argo voice is really just the Moviefone Guy voice. That killled me.

Bwahahahaha! Oh that's hysterical. Seriously, though, I don't know how he does it - not so much the change in accent, but whenever I try to talk for extended periods in a register so lower than mine my throat gets REALLY irritated. I suppose if you do it enough you must develop the muscles (or whatever).
I love his description of himself as a 6'6" tall geek with long blond hair. Although from photos I've seen he has cut the hair since.
I've never really watched Smallville before and I don't think tonight's early ep was the best place to start. (The one with the girl that drinks kryptonite ? shakes to lose weight.)
She just ate a deer that she hit while driving in the rain. EWWWWWW!
When I was interning for the Dept. of Environmental Conservation in New York, we had a whole set of rules about how you had to handle roadkilled deer, and whether you could take it home, or if you couldn't or didn't want to take it home which food banks/soup kitchens could take it... So I guess it's not that uncommon.
In Michigan it was accepted practice, or at least accepted urban legend.
