I've seen honest faces before. They usually come attached to liars.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ack. One always hates to hear how others perceive oneself.

Awww, I was just teasing. It was mostly your tentative self at the LA F2F. You were fine in SF. Honestly. If you really moved like an arthritic bear I would never say that to you.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Pittsburgh was the 909 of the East

As a newly minted Pittsburgher, bwah! I mean, hey!

Apparently parts of Google may be relocating here. I'm not sure whether that makes the city cooler or dorkier.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

More a *nimble* bear, then?

Up with the sun

(This is totally off-topic, but does anyone else now have that that dog song about "Why'd you take away my 213?" going through her head? Or is this a Lyra-specific reference?)

A sleek little black bear running through the woods of Paramus. The bear-ishness was just your tentative movements in LA where you were verrrrry careful about rotating on your spine. I don't think of you as bear-shaped or any such.

909 area code covers Riverside and Chino, and the rest of the "Inland Empire" (most of San Bernardino County).

Yeah, sometimes people will use other people's area codes as a sort of status ranking, as seen in Swingers. 323 and 213 are the downtown/Hollywood areas, 310 is the swanky west side, out by the beach... 818 is the Valley, and can sometimes be picked on by non-Valley types, and 909 is the Inland Empires, which can frequently be picked on by people not in the 909.

This goes more for the younger generation, as I understand it.

And I have no idea what the OCs area code(s) is(are).

714. and more recently 949.

I *am* given to hibernation, tho'....

Heh. We do that in Cincy with ZIP codes. ("You're -08 now? Getting too chi-chi for -09? Mr. fancy-pants....") (-08 and -09 being short for 45208 and 45209.)

Also, I think Long Beach (which is between LA and the OC) also has it's own area codes, and has a bit of status, as well.

Long Beach is 562.

E!Online interview with Danny Strong.

There's a casting spoiler for Angel in it, so beware. But there's a couple really funny non-spoilery GG bits:

re: his role as Doyle on GG:
"I love it because I get to lay down the line. I was Warren's bitch for so long, and now Rory is my bitch."

re: his lack of on screen love life:
And he could use some lovin'. "I've actually never had a girlfriend on TV," Danny laments, "and I think Rory would be perfect. She's a good four inches taller than me. And when's the last time we saw that-L.A. Law?"
