I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Early ,'Objects In Space'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

FYI. There's a lot of squeeing going on over at Frell Me Dead. Apparently TV Guide is claiming Henson will hold a press conference tomorrow to make an announcement about the future of Farscape.

This has not, I repeat, not, yet been confirmed by direct contact with Henson.

Please keep your eyes on the front page of Save Farscape for further news. *g*

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I'll bounce restrainedly, then.

I think I just saw the last episode of Farscape. I think. WTF?

Seriously, though.

Did anyone explode into Nerds candies? Because if so, yeah, that was the last episode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was just going to say that, but I don't think they have Nerds in the UK (you are in the UK, right, Jars?)¹.

¹ see, if I write UK, the answer will be Ireland. I know this.

Jars - Nov 12, 2003 12:44:12 pm PST #1918 of 10000

You're not wrong, on either count.

Ireland, and Nerds candies.

What in the Hell was that?

Art Crawl!!!

Nerds are a tart candy. (They are tart, aren't they? I don't think I've ever had them except in this very disturbing version that was encased in bubblegum - - don't try that.)

Jars, someone who didn't hate 90% of the final season should be in on the discussion. I threw my hands up and wailed "I stuck it out for THIS??!?!?"

Jars - Nov 12, 2003 12:49:30 pm PST #1921 of 10000

I only started watching it a few months ago, but I saw most of the third and fourth seasons, methinks. I can't believe that was the last episode. Where the Hell is my closure?

Willy Wonka Nerds? Yeah, we have them, the Super Sour kind that make your face implode, in fact. They is good.

jujubes are what we called 'em.

Jars, if it's any consolation the season was planned out with a "firm commitment" to a fifth season from the network. They were shooting pickups for 417 when the cancellation came down. As a result the show got a non-ending, the way every season got a non-ending.
