I can't even.

Really? Huh. I read a bunch of her other stuff first, and only read Lincoln's Dreams last week for the first time, and was way unimpressed. Can't explain why, just really didn't like it much. It got better later on, but the beginning I very disliked for some reason.

Lincoln's Dreams put into me an altered state, I liked it so much. I was like, hey where can I get more of that good Connie Willis crack.

Oh, good catch, Meara. Um, yummy Lana/Chloe sammich, what's with that bald guy, he's strangely appealing, what does OC stand for anyway? Optional Character [null-state]?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I loved that Sam Beckett Goes Home set of episodes. I loved the look the older brother gave him, after he'd saved his life -- as if he knew it was Sam.

Oh! What about the end, where you realize that one of the POWs that wasn't saved was Al?

I swear to god, that show hit my crying button a lot.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sighhhhh... t remembers when Scott Bakula was on a non-lame show

Scott Bakula used to be hot. What happened?

It's a remora, dimwit.

There's a reason they call Braga Pantymuck, and it's not just because his name is the Spanish word for panties.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Scott Bakula is still hot, when he is not required to have a bowl haircut by his contract. And interact with breast implants and space cadets, ha ha.

Dana and I are one in our Beckett love. Le sigh. That show was just the right amount of mushy, without being too manipulative (most of the time). It was so sad for me, realizing Sam didn't remember the lives he'd improved by being in them.
