Just a note to O.C. fans - there's a 7-hour marathon on FX starting in about 30 minutes.
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
In other other news, my season 2 complete Farscape arrived. A day after I heard it was shipping. SOMETHING is off here, but I'm not complaining.
The Due South two hour pilot is apparently available on tape - Pilot.
Oh, you can get it in a set with Call of the Wild and Mountie on the Bounty. Set.
No DVD for these that I can see.
It is available on tape, but wasn't included on the S1 DVD for some crazy-ass licensing reason. Which sucks, because you can't just have the entire season on DVD. And makes me worry about whether they'll leave Call of the Wild and Mountie on the Bounty off the S2 DVDs.
(Huh. Am I wrong in thinking that some Buffista out there has my DS tapes, btw? The pilot, and maybe CoTW? Emily had one of the three (those and Mountie on the Bounty) and I know I got that one back, but I think the other two are still out there in the ether somewhere.)
I had the pilot and Mountie on the Bounty after the Chicago F2F, but I swear I sent them on to CaBil.
If they're on tape I don't see why they won't release them on DVD. And, yeah, it would suck if they leave MotB off the DVD.
Hey, Nate Dushku? Eliza's brother, no?
He was on Joan of Arcadia and looks like a young George Harrison.
It was distracting to me to see how many of Faith's mannerisms are in fact Dushku family mannerisms. That neck thing she does, and certain facial expressions (especially around the eyes).
Isn't it funny?
Nate Dushku being there, plus Jason Ritter being hired by Sidney Poitier's daughter made that ep quite the "actors with more famous relatives" night.
