Who's playing psycho uncle. He looks like a smarmier Peter Gallagher, which is downright near illeagal (I like Peter Gallagher, but he does look, and often play, smarmy).

I saw the real katana scene as "Don't be afraid of my phallic symbol, young Clark -- it won't hurt you ..."
