Joyce ,'Same Time, Same Place'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, I'm going through an SG1 backlog.

Early S1 is so cute. Sam is the only one that still seems the same. Teal'c is getting the hang of his accent, and is smaller than he is now. Jack's hair is the wrong colour. Daniel's more of a Spader impersonation than he is now.

But the bit where he sees Sha're and says "Jack ... help me ... please" if you subtract the context from that entreaty -- it's so damned vulnerable, I'd totally layer it into a song-fic.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It occurs to me that the Goauld should be much gayer.
Huh. They always seemed pretty gay to me. Not that they shouldn't be much gayer. Just that I thought of them as gay already.

I don't recall any same-sex host relationships, though. Am I missing any?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Smalville's body count cracks me up. Especially since nobody (good) ever actually kills anyone. People just find out about Clark and then accidentally die in really violent ways.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm sure I'm not the only one whose brain went straight to "but this isn't the Angel thread".

Actually none come to mind. Maybe it was all subtext for me. Or the very femme guys with women seemed gay. Now I have to go rewatch my DVDs. This is not an altogether bad thing.

Mine for a brief second went to the "but I didn't click Angel cause it's not showing on the West Coast yet, and of *course* Lorne is gay, just cause they won't let him have a demon boyfriend..." My brain talks really fast.

Thrive to spite them

It's not technically incest since they aren't related by blood, right?

There's a good deal of Lex/Lionel stuff out there, I'd assume there is at least once Clark/Jonathan story somewhere out there.
