Cacophony.  That's pretty.  What's it mean?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I can't watch Smallville because the cast is so pretty they scare me. They look alien or mutant or something.

... what? It's a valid response!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Theodosia, I have often said the same thing. They're a good show-runner and writer or two from having an honest-to-God good show.

So much potential. Just needs more planning. t sighs

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Keerist, if just one or two more of the actors could match MR. Annette O'Toole and John Glover are good now, Allison Mack might be good soon, but as long as Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk top the cast list, what hope is there?

I can't even.

Rosenbaum is a good enough actor that I can see how the show could be really good if the rest of them would just leap to his level. They are so in need of a Mutant Enemy-level creator, it's a crying shame, because they have the raw material on hand.

I agree. I think the show is just primed to bump up to the next level and who knows, it might, with all involved getting more experience, they might get the right infusion of creative talent at the right time, etc. I'm sitting there going, y'know, I want to love this show, help me out here!

Shows tend to crap out and crash instead IMO, the late bloomers seem to be the exception.

ETA: Ah, sweet happenstance slumbering

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Aside from Sentinel, I reallly have followed all the fandoms listed in the header. Not to the extent of writing fic (or even reading fic) for all of them, but at least I've watched quite a few of the episodes, and enjoyed 'em. Does this make me the equivalent of a fan of loose virtue? Or just not picky enough?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think Allison Mack is good now. She's just written poorly.

Do you think Chloe's written worse than Lex, Lionel, or Ma? Maybe I shouldn't have said she's not good. She's not as good. Sam Jones is fine, though I won't hold my breath hoping for him to get better.

Well... but that's what they're *playing*!

I have this huge stack of stuff to do in the next half hour - or I would go into this more fully but HUH???

I actually really like how Chloe is written in the scripts, besides Lex, she is is the only person who ever has anything interesting to say at all - but I can't stand Mack.

I can't defend my Smallville fanship. I love the HoYay - it's not why I watch. I am all about the pretty - not why I watch either...I dunno...young pretty superhero trying to figure how to still be normal, guard their secret, get laid, and save the world at the same time. It's just a poorman's Buffy filler for me now I guess.

I don't think Drew Greenberg's Buffy eps were the best of the best, but he gives me hope for S3.

Thrive to spite them

I had no idea what MRKS meant, I wondered. I'm kinda glad I didn't ask.

Kinda sort on the subject....CKR is in a movie called Falling Angels, he was at the Tornoto Film Festival and interviewed with his costar Katherine Isabelle who plays his daughter. Read this it's funny as hell.

Also, CKR is going to be a vampire in Blade III.
