Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

More rule-type talk coming up.
Hello, Bureau 3!

What is even happening?

(lexine, not a haiku, and not really the thread for it, but I wanted to let you knew I'm sending you all the ~ma in the world. Having a seriously ill parent and an ill child at the same time, is a special kind of Hell. Take care of yourself, to the extent you can.)

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I suck at haiku. I'm never any good at writing it, plus I read it really stilted and count all they syllables.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

{Thank you Nilly and Cindy}

And thanks to everyone else for not publicly laughing at my silly haiku.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The syllable rule isn't hard and fast. But what a haiku should have is an unexpected half-twist at the end. It can have four-eight-five, or seven-four-six, but it should 'haiku.' I know it when I read it, but writing it is harder than you'd think.
