What is even happening?

Would the Jossverse in Other Media thread mainstays object to a redefinition of that thread? Is it a sub-community, or are there erm...problems about which I can't hypothesize because I know nothing about what I'm trying to discuss.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Would expanding a thread to include something new require a discussion and voting or could it be bullshit consensus?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'd be fine with a true consensus (vs. a bullshit one). That is, if no one objects, I don't think we need to vote.

Well, and here I had my heart set on a bullshit one.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Would we change the name? Jossverse in Other Media, Now With 33% More Comic Talk?

Jon, do you post there, much? If so, do you want to mention this discussion in the Jossverse thread?

I need a new tagline.. submissions are accepted.

What do people think about either adding a comics thread, or expanding the Jossverse thread to include other comics?

It looks like it would be a popular topic considering the current discussion in Minearverse. I believe in reading some of this thread the last few days topic proliferation is a concern and since sadly I don't read Jossverse yet so I can't have an option yet on if more topics should be added there or not. (Adding a new thread to my message center every few days)

I think all five of us in that thread have been here.

There's a lot of other comics talk in there. Always has been.

Just things I am thinking.

J'verse already is a thread where non-Joss comics are discussed - frequently - this would just make it official.

It doesn't have a sub-community like some others have. Frequent posters, yes, but not really a sub-community.

Joss is about to write a 12-shot for X-Men. This should cause some amount of people to venture into non-Joss comics that haven't. So it seems like a good time to make it a general comics thread.

I'm sure all these points have already been made by now...

What is even happening?

I just looked at the last 50 posts. Sumi, Matt, DX, Teppy, sj, and some other folks seem to post there, too.

I am pussyfooting, because I am still bruised from my (admittedly ignorant, but in the dumb way, not the mean way, which still gets retold as if it were the mean way, and ignores the apologies and retractions and oh, I digresss /issues) suggestion that AC could close when BtVS bowed.
