If the board is handling the volume, does that mean we'd be shutting down registrations for personal reasons?
For me? It's personal. I'm hand wringing. I like slow growth. This is too much and I'm not having fun. Which is all my own personal ish.

Seconding Jesse
Seconded, Jess. AND I WONT DO A TAKE BACK.

That wasn't even me!
But I third. Permanently.
Closing regs would be a significant change in our culture, and I wouldn't be inclined to set that precedent especially as it seems like the tide of attention is receding.
Okay then. I personally feel that 200 new members in a week will very likely lead to a significant change in board culture. Which is why I was advocating shutting down until we see how things pan out. But it seems like I'm in the minority so I'm shutting up now.
Also I'm not seconding/supporting.voting for a WF spoilers thread unless we can call it something that doesn't contain the "T" word, the "M" word or the "WF" word.
Because I think we probably should've/could've kept Spoilers Lite among other things.
And F2F, which we wound up opening back up a couple of months later anyway.
Seconding Jesse.

We'll just call it Lovesick Ass' Bitches.

I just think it's too late -- barn door, horse gone, etc.
I'll second (or fifth or whatever) Jesse's suggestion, and also suggest that we call it Shhhhhh! (or something).
