Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What Sean said.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But did we know that MSN Entertainment did too?

Oh crap.

At least it wasn't a live link. Let's hope people are too lazy to cut and paste and type.

Do the results of the Politics vote get posted other than "Yep" or "Nope"?

Not sure what you mean, MM?

Can I propose that we at least consider shutting down new regs for a while? We wouldn't be the first site to do it.

That's not a formal "let's vote on it" proposal. That's a "can we discuss this option" thing.

Oh! MM, Check Press.... That's where the actual vote totals are posted.

Didn't look in Press first. Looked after asked. Found. Edited prior post.

Moving on...

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Jess, the link after the poll vote leads to WX, to a thread that's apparently no longer there, The Buffista Contingency Plan.

Yeah, I've tried to change that, but it never takes. (When I opened the account, we were at WX. Even though all of those polls have since been deleted, it just ignores me when I put Buffistas.org as the home page in new polls.)

I third or fourth that "oh crap," and agree that shutting down regs for a day or three might be wise.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

The MSN thing is dated April 5 -- That Celebs column has already been replaced by another. So while I'm sure it had some impact on the rash of new registrations, that worst has probably already passed.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Can I propose that we at least consider shutting down new regs for a while? We wouldn't be the first site to do it.

This is because of all the WF-related linkage, correct? If we did shut down registration for a little while, how soon would you see it re-opening? Or, what would be the trigger for re-opening?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Are we still getting many new registrations?
