Do you want a word doc attach. or just in the body of the e-mail? Any preference?

This heart ain't gonna cut itself out

I have a question about the names thing. Frankly, I wouldn't mind using my actual name because the Vandalisimo thing is a bit unwieldy for conversation. However, I see that there is a KateP and a Katefate. So, would it still be cool for me to go with Kate or is it too similar to the other two?

I feel like it's a stupid question that I should know the answer to, but I just don't.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

You could go by OtherKate!

Which, okay, only I think is nifty sounding.

It's your call. I haven't done a log check to see if we have any Just Kates.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I don't think it would be too much of a problem. Were you thinking of including an initial?

I was thinking of just going with Kate. But, since there's a KateP, I could go with KateW.

No plain old Kate in the database. We have Kat, Kat Allison, kat perez, katalene, Kate P., katefate, Katerina Bee, katewrath, Kathy, Kathy Astrom, kathya11, Katie D, Katie M, katje9, KatsInNuyork, katya, and Katya P.

eta, Kate W would work, or KateW.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

I will say that a similar situation (though not with my birth name) is what made me decide to change my name from "Ro" to "Astarte".

It was quite confusing for other posters.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Hey Kate, I don't think there'd be a problem with you using Kate or KateW as your username. At least, speaking as one of the Kates, I won't mind. :-) Or you could keep Vandalisimo and we could all call you Kate anyway (like some of us call DavidS Hec, PMM Plei, MFNlaw Maria, DXM Ed, etc.).

Kate let me know, and I'll switch it to whatever you like.
