If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

You want a good blend of comedy and action, without a lot of backstory to confuse the new viewer.

I'm not sure if we even need this sentence anymore -- since new viewers are going to be either watching the show on FX or DVD, there's no reason not to start them with WTTH, is there?

Also, do we want to add a section on getting people hooked on Angel there? Firefly?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Only thing for me is, I wouldn't add the thing about names. As the person who brought it up (only in reminiscence, mind you) I feel really badly that it's had an impact on board behavior. I didn't mean for it to, I was only making an observation, and I think that our culture is different from TT's and there's no reason to arbitrarily preserve their mores. I don't want anyone who has a traditional (read: not real name) handle to feel like they're anything but a true Blue part of Buffistahood. Using real names is a practice that's counter to internet generalities, and I don't think it's something we specifically need to incorporate here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What Liese said. If that is her real name.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Agree with Liese generally, but maybe we could replace it with something (or put something in the registration FAQ) discouraging names that would foster confusion?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

maybe we could replace it with something (or put something in the registration FAQ) discouraging names that would foster confusion?

That text should go on the registration page itself, I think.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

That text should go on the registration page itself, I think.

I agree. Something about not using names of ME writers, actors, etc.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Q: What's up with the American syndication schedule for Mutant Enemy shows these days?

Considering how often the re-airing schedules on FX and TNT are likely to change, I'd suggest just putting a link to the FX and TNT websites, rather than trying to keep up every time FX moves Buffy. I tracked down those links and included them when I posted my few FAQ revisions.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I also would, maybe, love it if we could gently suggest pronounceable names? I don't give two shits if it's your real one, I'm scrolling past numbers.

And maybe to email stompies/ask in bureau if you want to change it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

What Liese said. If that is her real name.

Cause, you know, it's not. Kinda. And thus the guilt.

Ha HA! See, that's the thing. It's hard to even tell who around here is using their real name and who is not.
