We are legion.

I'm sorry msbelle. This is Cindy. I won't post any more. It was just supposed to be fun. I'd already decided to stay out of anything but Angel/Wonderfalls threads, and not vote.

Up with the sun

I don't think sock-puppets are a problem as long as its all in good fun and nobody gets their eye put out.

It only bugs me because I don't like not being in on the joke. But that's not really a reason to change board policy.

Besides, I'm still trying to figure out what bats likes carrots means, so I'm clearly way out of the loop.

Edit: X-post, clearly. Hi, Cindy-the-Lurker.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Remember Bob-likes-carrots? That one is the way, especially when someone's newly in lurve, they'll sort of gushingly bring their beloved Bob up on any barely-relevant conversational pretext at all. "Bob said... Bob thinks... Bob likes..." So when a few obsessives among us coughmepleishriftcough got into Batman fandom and started going on and on about it everywhere, it kinda sounded, well, Bats-likes-carrots...

Um, I'm guessing that is a reference to a TV show I don't watch? It's dimly, vaguely ringing that kind of a bell for me.

And thank you, amych, for tacking a mystery Google was useless against.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This is Cindy.

Hee! I'd been trying to remember who said they were going to register as the lurkers in email, and too lazy to threadsuck. Now I don't have to! Woo hoo!

Nah, just a Buffista-ism.

Nope, it's a Teppy-ism.

Actually, this is making me wonder if maybe it should be in the FAQ.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

From now on, if I'm in an argument I'll be saying "Cindy supports me in email".

Thanks amych, Jess. I'm sure I've seen Teppy say that, too, but my memory is occasionally sieve-like.

Neutral on putting it into the FAQ. i kind of liked having it as a random koan to puzzle over.

Visilurking

Cindy lurks for like a month and next thing you know she's queen of them all. Now that's charisma.
