Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Now I'm picturig the protracted scene where the tightpants are shredded by angry soldiers as onlookers oggle and cheer...

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

With the death matches restarted, we need to decide on a title for The Quotable Buffy 3. When we were discussing it two weeks ago, there were two that seemed to have support (and no objections like "spazzed"):

  • Your OTQ May Vary
  • "Who said that? ME. Who? ME!"

With the latter being the more popular.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

...I like the first one better.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I like Your OTQ May Vary also.

Thanks for all the fish.

I don't like OTQ, as I don't believe in the concept. Other than that, I have no opinion, really.

Visilurking

I like them both but the Y _ May Vary is already being used. (See Minearverse.) Not that it can't be used again.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I like "Who said that? ME. Who? ME!" Maybe it was too much Abbot and Costello as a child.

Or something like that, which involves favorite quotes that lost the deathmatch, was also suggested.

"Who said that? ME. Who? ME!"

Love both of these. Maybe the first one just a bit more because they are the quotes that were, you know, the word we won't be using-ed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Softer Side of eating babies in Istanbul

I like this better than the other two.
