Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

And I have typed Tim's name so often int his post, it has ceased to make sense

And you're making the Canadians hungry...

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Could someone please put a break in the HUGE hyphenated phrase in this post? Calli "Coffee On My Monitor" Mar 5, 2004 6:26:21 am PST

Ta, ever so.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Got it, Steph. If a little messily.

DXMachina - Mar 05, 2004 5:55:08 am PST #7079 of 10005
You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

And you're making the Canadians hungry...

Nattery side note, but Tim Horton's just bought out all the stores that were owned Rhody's second largest donut franchise as part of that company's bankruptcy settlement. It'll be interesting to see if they switch brands. I'm hoping they do, because the other company had the world's worst donuts.

Not javachik

9000 in Natter; just wandered over to see if new names were being bandied about.

I skipped and skimmed, but I'm in favor of deathmatch notices in Press. I'd never, ever, ever see that they are happening otherwise. IIRC, there were multiple posts in a day? half day? hours? (not going to look, sorry) over one of the holidays when there were only about 15 people on the board and it was a great way to get people to keep popping in there.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The only numerically-referential thing I can come up with is

"You are 22, and you live on Avenue Q"

Which is probably too off-topic, but that's all I've got at the moment.

Jessica - Mar 05, 2004 11:15:27 am PST #7082 of 10005
And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"You are 22, and you live on Avenue Q"

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

("Why don't you play a drinking game?")

t /haven't stopped channeling the Bad Idea Bears since I saw it

Disaffected college student

I would think that

Natter 21: Blackjack!

could only be followed by

Natter 22: Busted.

But that's me.

DCJensen - Mar 05, 2004 3:27:24 pm PST #7084 of 10005
All is well that ends in pizza.

Natter 21: Blackjack!

could only be followed by

Natter 22: Busted.

But that's me.

Or

Natter 22: Busted. The House Always Wins.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There's these Stooges lyrics:

Last year I was 21
I didn't have a lot of fun
And now I'm gonna be 22
I say 'Oh my' and a 'Boo hoo'

(from "1969")

OK, maybe not Iggy's best writing
