I know I'm a bad poet, but I'm a good man. All I ask is that... is that you try to see me—

Has any thought been given to closing the Good Riddance thread and replacing it with an Election thread? There's going to be a lot of election talk this year and I don't know if it should be in Natter or if it deserves its own thread. I should point out that don't care either way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think all the Secret Santa gifts have been received, so the thread still has a purpose.

The last riddance thread stayed open until February the second.

Agreed. I should have said that I didn't mean close the 2003 thread right now, but when it is closed...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We don't have to trade off on threads anymore, in theory, now that we're on a dedicated box.

However, it doesn't make me any less anti-proliferation at heart.

Okie dokie. Like I said, doesn't matter to me. I'll just skip most of the election banter in natter.

Ann, that's a ferret.

We're getting near the end of the Music thread. For Music 2, I'd like to suggest either Put Another Nickel In or Put Another Nickel in (the Nickelodeon). In honor of this old Teresa Brewer song.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

We've said no Politics thread before -- ergo, I think, no election thread.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Back when we were deciding on the title for Music 1, there was support for "Give me something to sing about".

I did a search this morning for Buffy music quotes. These are the funny ones. I am not in favor of anything just yet - just reporting my findings.

buffy: the sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays

giles: I'm down with the new music. And I have the albums to prove it.

spike: with the rising music, and the rising ... music

beerbad!buffy: Want more singing. Want more beer.

oz: It's not the music that's hard, it's the marching.

beerbad!buffy: Bright colours. Music. Tiny little people.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

giles: I'm down with the new music. And I have the albums to prove it.

I have to throw in my vote with this one.
