Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

Jon, all I see in the thread header is this:

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"?
Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn.
Aragorn: I like "Strider."
Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

That's why I asked. Where is that thread header?

Would someone please link me to the thread header for RotK, that Jon referenced? I really don't know where it is. All I see is the slug on the main page/message center page, and what I thought was the thread header, which I quote a couple of posts back.

As far as I can see - what Jon posted was the spoiler policy for the Movies thread:

Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
There is no spoiler policy in the thread header for RotK nor was there one for the TTT thread.

My two cents: I think it makes sense to wait until Monday so folks have a chance to see it over the weekend.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The whitefonting needs of both threads are very different. You have to be all layered for a multi-film thread, but RotK's pretty much about only the one.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Um, um, since Bitches was just closed, what's the deal with a new one? Opening shortly? Waiting til the move is over?

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

It's not a top-of-story slashdotting, just a mention in a response -- we've had that happen before.
