Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The slug is about to be out of date, too.

Is there any interest in changing the LotR thread name from The Two Towers to Return of the King?

Also no strong opinion here, but given my druthers, when the time comes, it would be nice to close the TTT thread, and open a fresh one for RotK--just for the sake of searching, later on.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I agree. (The reason I brought it up is that "when the time comes" is next Tuesday, so if we want a new thread, we should get to naming it.)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I was thinking: Return of the King -- He might be king, but Legolas is still the prettiest.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ROTK: Here at journey's end we lie.

Hmm, that might be too depressing, though.

Let me just say that popularity with people on public transportation does not equal literary respect. --Jesse

RotK: Thank god it's over?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

NOTHING DEPRESSING. It'll be bad enough as it is.

RotK: How long till the extended edition?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

ROTK: There's Nothing Depressing here. Move along.
