Nobody

And I guess I can see the rationale behind asking that specifics of game show appearances be whitefonted, even though I personally don't care

I can too. He wasn't asking for that. He was expressing displeasure at being spoiled. I asked that we not start a thing over it. Apparently those are the magic words for starting a thing. Apparently "Oh no, please let's not" is incredibly rude ridicule that causes people to be left "utterly bewildered" and causes many other people to see it the same way. Whereas objecting to being called "incredibly rude" and objecting to being accused of "ridicule" is:

I think you're making a big deal over nothing.

I'm from a completely different planet, and suddenly grateful for that.

Up with the sun

On a completely different topic, what's the status of the holiday thread? Are we waiting for the server move to open one?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Actually, tomorrow is the anniversary of opening last year's, so I was thinking of doing it then. If anyone has last minute votes for the title, get 'em in now.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I told Kate I'd find a new link for Dianthus.

(lazy bitca isn't going to do so herself)

Don't worry, Trudy, we all know what she's like. It's so kind of you to step in when she flakes out.
