I'm also a Cindy loving freak - the fun thing about the dead panda title is that it is a nod to both the pandaphiles and those who couldn't care less about the panda.

"Baby Panda? Still dead." could mean both:

"How's that wittleballofcuteness doing? Still sleeping? Ohhhh after that play session he just had - he needs his leeetle panda rest."

or

"What the hell is so exciting about a panda shaped rug? Those panda watchers are weird."

And then the Cindy title in a week when it's time for Natter 20.

Natter 19: Baby Panda? Still Dead. Welcome to the Hellmouth petting zoo.

Kinda long...

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

I'm for dead pandas.

What?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dead Pandas are the new black.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Cindy and the flaming otter? Isn't that the sequel to Hedwig?

This is made all the funnier by the fact that "otter" is a slang term among us poofters for a certain type of guy. (Think "bear" but younger and in-shape.)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"otter" is a slang term among us poofters for a certain type of guy
Well *now* you tell us... Oh well, Natter 20 will probably be needed by tomorrow morning. And then we can have flaming otters.

Nobody

I think Matt just outed me, but he must also think I'm hot. Or something.

Panda gets my vote--fwiw.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Pretty map. Makes me homesick.

I'll note in passing here that Knut is putting together a literary journal and for its title he is calling it The Dogtown Review for his favorite neighborhood in Sang Sacre.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Hey, when we though the Sang Sacré map was lost, earlier, and I suggested putting together a new, more detailed map/virtual tour?

Would anyone be interested in doing that?

I could probably Photoshop together at least some of the landmarks and stores, and someone with the web design kishurim metoraphim could make it all pretty. It'd be fun!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Holli. I think that would be great. I'd be glad to work on some of it. Certainly I can do the html and some Photoshoppy stuff.
