Getting back to Nutty's post about possibly rearranging the sidebar information (FAQ pages, Etiquette pages, How-To pages), I think there are some things we can do to make things easier. There is duplication of the How-To information. As Jon notes, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it does complicate matters if we have to make a change, and we update the How-To page, but forget that it's also in the FAQ, or vice-versa. It might be better to have it only on the How-To page, and have that page referenced from the FAQ as well as having it's own link. (Or put the How-To stuff in the FAQ, and have the How-To link point to that spot in the FAQ.)
The FAQ could use a good rewrite, too. Case in point, the very first line states:
Warning: This FAQ may contain spoilers up to and including BtVS 6.22 and Angel 3.22.
There is a lot of obsolete information (TV schedules), broken links (Mr. Pointy), dialect that never caught on ("Cousin Clingon"), etc. Even some of the names are archaic: Elisabeth O., kirvin (sic), Nutty Vee, Connie H... And my name is misspelled (pout)!
I guess there are two things here. One is the organization of the information, which is what Nutty was talking about. I do think we can improve that a bit, but have no immediate ideas, other than what I mentioned about the How-To page. The other is updating the contents of the FAQ itself, and I'll be happy to start working on that.
So we should warn him or ban him? I'm always forgetting...

I had noticed that a while ago, but I didn't see any spoilers in the FAQ for the Buffy S7 or Angel S4, so I left it alone.
There's definitely some other stuff that could use updating, as you note. Go for it!

Random question, just so I don't fuck up:
From the Angel thread, it sounds like there was a promo tonight with the main cast addition character. I honestly am confuzzled by the spoiler policy at this point -- I know that the amendment that recently passed meant we would talk about that character in the Angel thread, but now that a promo featuring that character has aired, can we talk about that character addition in *any* NAFDA thread?
Like I said, it's not a crusade on my part; just a desire to not mention something in a place I shouldn't mention it.
