Yep. Different writers are known for different things. I'd rather be surprised.
I just don't get it. I understand now why people posted only in Spoilers and not in the show threads last season.
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

This one has always not had them or at least white fonted.
Really? I thought that was a relatively recent development -- a cautiousness that became ingrained.
And I sorta don't care what other boards do. This one has always not had them or at least white fonted.
Trudy, I was using that statement to acknowledge that although I understand why some people want to talk about episode titles, that I was still going to support you in your quest to keep episode titles forbidden 'til the episode airs.
Sorry you don't like my writing style. Now I'll give you my opinion. I think your attitude here is counterproductive to getting/keeping what you want, because you just lost one supporter. I was supporting you, because it was you, not because I think it's a reasonable request. In fact, I think it is a ridiculous request.
I'm done supporting it.
Look, sometimes titles we get aren't the final title -- the earlier titles may turn out to be more spoilery than we may want. Also, The Body might not have been spoilery say in December or January -- but I bet it was when people got the episode title in February or March. (When did it air again?)
I recall it as coming under "not broadcast = spoiler"
That's what it was -- and writers and episode titles aren't broadcast.
I don't get how "Lullabye" gives away any more or less than the other Darla Gives Birth! titles, "Offspring" and "Quickening." And at that point, we'd known Darla was having Angel's baby since the first episode of the season.
I think the *policy* has always been whitefonting titles because they aren't broadcast, but in practice we've been pretty lax.
Sorry you don't like my writing style.
I have no problem with your writing style. Lots of people say "other boards this and other boards that" in the course of discussions and I'm saying I sorta don't care. I'm not on other boards, I'm on this one".
I don't think titles are ever broadcast.

Me too. IIRC, ep titles were only considered spoilers in the main threads after the Spoilage Lite threads were created.
