Book: Where's the doctor? Not back yet? Zoe: (beat) We don't make him hurry for the little stuff. He'll be along. Book: He could hurry... a little.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Sounds good, either in the thread title or the slug. I do think that some category-name like "Combined TV Fandom" is more flexible and less clunky than just a list of names, although I'll note there hasn't been a good punnish suggestion yet. Alas!

This Is Not In Any Way A General TV Thread 1: No, Really!

Okay, I got nothin'.

Our wings are not tired.

For the record, in practically every question in the ballot that referred to a thread I don't post in, I voted "No Preference"

Same here, which is also why I have no preference for the new thread title.

42 - the one true number.

Also, Kat may be Queen of the moment any time she pleases.

Hey, what happened to the bo-bita question!?!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

The slug works for me as well. Maybe we can think on titles a bit more?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, what happened to the bo-bita question!?!

Kat is a sell-out, apparently.

Hey, what happened to the bo-bita question!?!

ita knows where Kat lives?

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm weighing in against Ikea, in that i have never shopped there and it is an abstract to those of us who have not done so. It would be like naming the thread Pottery Barn.

Last week, in post:

Daniel C. Jensen "Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!" Aug 23, 2003 12:29:56 pm PDT

I posted:

6) Consolidate Due South, Smallville and Farscape:

If this goes through, may I suggest:

Southscape-1: t insert name here
Description: Genreville. We go here to discuss programs like Due South, Smallville, Stargate SG-1, Farscape and other treasures. May contain mature content.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Coming up with puns is difficult.

Boxed Set! : FS, SV, dS, and other TV fandom

Get it? combined topics, boxed set...? And isn't Due South out on DVD now, so it's sort of cute and topical?

Okay, I'm trying.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I like the slug as well.
