You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Shiny Beads and Sweet Talk.

Tongues is a close second for me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I don't get tongues. It doesn't make sense...because it makes sense. Of course we use tongues--to say anything! It's not...double enough an entendre.

Liking shiny beads and sweet talk.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

I think tongues need context.

In this case, though not ALWAYS... sometimes a non-contextual tongue is a sweet slippery surprise.

And, um, there's a post over in bitchy fic that looks to me like it might be from a poster who had been asked to leave. (My apologies to Poster #1013 if it really is someone different.) Could a stompy check the ISP and everything to see if there's reason to believe that? It's just one post, but I don't want a whole big thing, again.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Doesn't look so, LJ.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

LJ, my gut says not, but I'll take a closer look.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
