Thanks, Amy, DX. Good to know she's (relatively) okay.

My feeling is that her (godawful! Is that petty of me?) website is her space, our folder is ours.
No, I don't think it's petty (hm, maybe I should take those tags off my own post). She's clearly got her own webspace -- she shouldn't be treating our forum like its her blog.
maybe I should take those tags off my own post
Not meant as a comment at all -- actually, I didn't even really register your "petty" tags -- I was just feeling that way myself for commenting on her web design in the midst of a discussion of what to do about her.
I sent an e-mail to Lance.
Question: Would it be possible, feasible, and/or advisable to contact the host of her webpage about the threats contained in her page? It's not that I think we are in any serious danger, but in all honesty, I'm concerned and seriously creeped.
Also, since I came into all this early this morning, thanks to DX and the others. It was an ugly situation that was handled with as much grace as humanly possible.
justkim - I think it's probably possible, but I would rather not leave her with no outlet at all. I don't want to deal with her again as a Buffista. I don't want to take her hobbies away from her.
Thanks, ita.
If there is any way to protect this thread to allow only registered users to read it, could we consider doing so? Just this thread. And this situation is why I'm asking (already asked if it's possible in BBaBB)
I was just feeling that way myself for commenting on her web design in the midst of a discussion of what to do about her.
OH! And I didn't register your comment as a web design critique, so clearly my reading comprehension this morning needs more coffee. (And, eh, if that's petty, then I'll join you in that corner as I stifle a laugh over her degree in international relations/tourism.)
The threatening naming names, even misspelled, creeps me out, but I suspect ignoring the problem is the best course of action.
Cindy, I actually do agree with you. I just thought it was a suggestion that warranted, well, suggesting. As I don't appear to be a target in anything but a general Buffista sense, I'm more or less ok. I'm really concerned for those she mentions by name and want to make sure they are protected (not that they need my protection).
(edited to prove I can type and spell at the same time, even in the morning.)
