I think Plei wants to propose adjustments to the Buffista definition of spoilers so that well publicized casting changes to the main cast (not guest or recurring) is not considered a spoiler and can be discussed in the main topics.

For the record, the queue of Things To Vote On is nil, since the Minear Fluffy Bunny thread got voted in. There are some things about thread retirement and/or consolidation we haven't dealt with, but we created a ladies' and jellyspoons' agreement not to deal with that stuff till closer to fall, when the TV schedule comes out, and the end of Buffy is no longer a spoiler anywhere, etc. etc.
So if Plei has a secret wish, I think she should make it unsecret now or at her earliest convenience.

A vote is a great idea, since the spoiler in question will necessarily color ALL speculation on Angel in all three AtS threads pretty soon. However, I would have no problem with asking people to delay the revelation until a chosen date, like one month before the premiere or something.
We might also want to make sure what the criteria for "being aired" is--a promo? A Joss interview? An actor interview? I'm still confused on that one.

I'd vote for that change. In fact, I'd propose it:
"That major casting spoilers which are being advertised by Fow, the WB or ME on TV, press or their official website are no longer spoilers, and should be discussed in the show threads."
