Disaffected college student

You fixed it. It was one of those things where it came right before the closing of another element, and some browsers will turn off the italics right there, and some won't.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I know we have a consensus that discussion of the unaired-in-the-US-but-aired-in-the-UK episodes of Firefly should go in Firefly spoilers. Can we also consense that, until the UK has seen each of them, there will be no further discussion of "The Message", "Heart of Gold" or "Objects In Space" in the spoiler thread? That way the thread will be safe for them as long as they don't read older posts.

The only other option is to create a special thread but that seems silly since it will lose its value in three weeks.

If there's consensus, I'll post the policy in the relevent threads.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Can they post in unAmerican? I hate to lose the discussions in their respective showthreads, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In unAmerican, it would have to be whitefonted. In Spoilers, they could post freely, no?

I think they should be able to post freely in Spoilers, and that those who have seen the eps (or read the shooting scripts) should be able to post freely in Spoilers. The creation of an unAmerican Firefly thread would also be acceptable, to be closed as soon as the last ep airs. Would like to know what the UKers think, because really? I'm just enjoying the discussion wherever it may take place.

The UKistas won't want to post in Spoilers if they're going to get spoiled about the three eps they haven't yet seen.

We're talking about limiting discussion in Spoilers for three weeks. Is that such a big deal?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I would vote with going with the Firefly spoilers thread staying pristine until each of the episodes airs. I've only seen one of them, and other then possibly chiming in with a "it's great" have no particular desire to spoil anyone.

Pose the question to those discussing Firefly. I'm anti-limits on conversation.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Frankly, I'd be fine with it staying in the main thread in whitefont.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

"The Message", "Heart of Gold" or "Objects In Space" in the spoiler thread?

So, does this mean no discussing of them ANYWHERE until the British see them? Because that's not right.
