I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Also, I think if I had started posting early on it would have been easier, but after a few months and then years, I felt that I knew all of you so well that being the new kid would be really weird.

I totally get this, by the way. "I know you! But you don't know me. At all."

This freaks me a little every day (being new, knowing you all, you not knowing me) but it gets a little less freaky every day, too.

Nobody

So I take it "Bastards took the sky from us" is out.

How about Where'd That Gorram Sky Go?

Art Crawl!!!

Maybe "It Couldn't Be Specialer" for the next thread -- if it's closer to December?

I'm still a fan of Still Flying. When do the DVDs come out again?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

That dude said 6-8 months, Kristen, but I got the impression that they were in post-production. I thought they'd be out for Christmas, but then, I thought my car would be back from the mechanic before 10am, and I'm still waiting. Which has nothing to do with DVDs.

Strawberry disappointment.

How about "This thread is problematic."

Visilurking

I like "I'll be in my bunk." Because it assumes that Firefly's continued longevity is a given, it's a direct show quote, and it's become an integral catchphrase in Buffistaspeak. And it always makes me smile.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.
