Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

As a recent delurker - I don't think it's too off-putting. If you are familiar with Buffy, you'll recognize it.

I don't think most new folks just jump right into Natter - I haven't - you have to get comfy in other threads first. So - chances are they will get used to being here separate from seeing that thread title and thinking you all are evil witches who will tie them up and flay them. (And therein lies their first mistake....)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I don't think it's any more intimidating than Bitches, as a thread title. Though, it begs for trolls to test the title.

I like the title, though, and don't think we should have to give any thought to anyone but ourselves and our culture when making these decisions.

Ann, that's a ferret.

It's also a title for Natter. Which means it'll be around for, what, 13 minutes?

Though we could add something in the header about how it relates to someone who did piss us off lately.

Natter 13: Hostrocket? You won't like us when we're angry.

Natter 13: Or maybe 12.5, you know? Just in case...

Natter 12b: superstitious? us?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Natter 12b: superstitious? us?

Ok, that gets my vote.

That's really very funny.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think we should just skip to Natter 14: There is no spoon.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Another recent delurker saying I don't think it's off putting, terribly.

However, I think an even better quote would be "I think you'll see your mistake was touching my stuff."
