I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

At least, we labour under that impression. It often colours our decisions...

Oh, DX, don't start. I have a hard enough time keeping my American spellings straight. Too stubborn to give in...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Don't you mean "stubbourn?"

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I've been waiting for those proposals that were supposed to be in queue before the Tim thread, (the grandpappy proposal seemed the one folks thought was most important) and it's been a few days and no one has proposed.

I'm feeling a little pushed aside and tucked under the couch cushion.

Was someone going to propose grandpappy, or was I going to shut up?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I thought Betsy was going to propose grandpappy, but she I think she has been busy.

Don't know what to tell you-- maybe we should wait a few for betsy?

I think we should put a limit on how long we wait for the Grandpappy proposal, say until Sunday, and then if it's not proposed Allyson can move forward on her proposal on Monday. Though didn't I hear news that Wonder Falls is now a midseason replacement? Does that change the proposal at all, Allyson?

We could just go with an A Buffista Who Gets a Show Gets A Thread proposal without waiting, yes?

(Or am I confused on the Grandpappy thing?)

If Wonder Falls isn't mid-season (or if that doesn't matter) - could/would Betsy design the grandpappy section of the ballot and Allyson design the Tim thread section on the same ballot? We could just make them independent items.

Perhaps the real question is, would people prefer to vote more often on fewer issues, or less frequently, with diverse issues up for a vote at the same time? Me, I'd rather vote less frequently, but I don't care enough to argue. It's just a thought.
