And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

Thanks for all the fish.

So, if Firefly were coming out this Fall instead of last would it require a vote to get a thread? Interesting. It would seem like a no-brainer that it would get a thread, but I think that we would need to have a vote in order to follow our own rules.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Tim's show should have its own thread with no vote because he's TIM. It's his show, he's the showrunner/headwriter and he's a Buffista.

I'm all for giving Tim a thread. Happy to vote for it, feel like it's the right thing. Don't know why anybody would consider it insulting for us to use our regular procedures.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm wondering, and I'm not trying to be a PITA, but, would we vote on the creation of a new ME show thread?

I'd say so.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Don't know why anybody would consider it insulting for us to use our regular procedures.

I can't explain it without sounding like an asshole, so I'm thinking on a better way to write it down.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'm wondering, and I'm not trying to be a PITA, but, would we vote on the creation of a new ME show thread?

Yes, because that is now the procedure.

Frankly, I think this can all wait until at least after the F2F.

Can I just ask how the F2F impacts this discussion/decision?

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I don't think it does, Julie. I think it's just an arbitrary "after we get back home and the season is over and we're settled back in again" sort of thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd think the pickups announcement would be a more logical time, if one has to wait. So, we propose, discuss, vote, and sometime in that period it becomes apparent there's no show -- no big deal, as I see it.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

Anyway-- now someone is going to come along and want to vote on my password.

I propose that we change Sophia's password to "hobbitslash." Any seconds?

I'm proposing a thread dedicated to Minear. The thing is, if this show does go away, Tim will get back on the horse, and also is likely to get his fingers sticky in all sorts of projects over the course of our board. I think that Tim isn't just a Buffista, but our patron saint, as well.
