"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Always admired the way Lisa Loeb wore her glasses. Trying to get fired up for a local phone bank, but I've had some ups and downs today.

The bad: my flight from Hartford was delayed. The good: my connection was also delayed so I didn’t have to run across the whole freaking airport The bad: there’s a bunch of luggage but not a bunch of people so they made us all move to the back of the plane, which is obnoxious

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Huh. I did not know making everyone move to the back of the place was a thing that happened.

Neither did I, and it would make me nervous! And I'm not a nervous flyer.

My brain has dredged up (or possibly manufactured, hard to say) a memory of Pop Up video telling me that Lisa Loeb and I share a birthday. I wanna say she's maybe a year older than me? I hope that's true but I don't think I will check, at least not right now

Well, we survived the back of the plane (I guess we had to balance out first class too) and landed. Am v sleepy as it’s nearly 2am east coast time. And I have a 730am meeting (hopefully one I can just listen to and not say anything and then go buy coffee)

Our wings are not tired.

On smaller planes, the pilot has moved us around. DH pretty much counts as two people. It's disconcerting.

Pack, pack, pack today. And it is going to be raining all day. Yuck. It is supposed to start snowing tonight so we will have pretty pictures in the morning of the white dusting as we head south.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Is it sad that I'm looking at the Lisa Loeb glasses because I'm excited about the case?

Note: Including my purse and jacket, I am wearing six shades of purple today.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The back of the plane is the safest part!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

...the pilot has moved us around.

Getting the weight & balance right is important.

Dick Francis put it succinctly in Flying Finish: "If the center of gravity isn't kept to within fairly close specific limits the plane won't fly at all, just race at high speed to the end of the runway and turn into scrap metal."
