I am back from Frankfurt and jet-lagged to hell and back. I did get upgraded to Comfort+ again for the way back and had a row almost all to myself, which made the 8 hour flight more tolerable than it otherwise would have been. (I never get upgraded on the NY-Seattle trips, because those flights are always full.)
I hope the next time I go to Europe I get to see more than the inside of a hotel conference room.
Over two and a half days, I was told by two cab drivers, a tour bus director, and a hotel concierge "Your name is German, did you know?" (Yes, in fact I did know that. Well actually it's my husband's name but almost all of my grandparents' names are German too.)
Back to work I guess. Sigh.

I am very into the idea of savory protein bars. Much as I like the built and puff bars.
I have been drinking lots of LMNT for electrolytes but I suspect the stevia in it was giving me migraines this summer. So I had to back off, even though it was also helping me be less dizzy. I do still use it but less.
I completely forgot I had stashed some instant oatmeal in a corner of my desk, so now I am having oatmeal. Yay! Added too much water, though, so it's soupy. Alas.

is not on the spelling bee word list. I guess autocorrect wants to capitalize it which makes it more of a proper noun? Maybe that’s why? But I thought it was not.
What's a proper noun and what isn't is often a surprise to me in many contexts. I wouldn't have thought that was, but I can kind of see it, I guess
Timelies all.
Monday it was cold, rainy and windy in CT. There was a tent set up at the gravesite, but I still got rain blown in my face. I was also the only one wearing a dress. The service was nice but sad. Saw my cousins who I hadn’t seen in a very long time
Last night we flew down to Florida. This morning was the memorial service, followed by brunch at my dad’s house. Shiva was at 7 this evening.
Oh, Sheryl. You and your family are so much in my thoughts. May there be comfort and good stories for you.
