Timelies all.
Tomorrow evening we fly up to CT for the funeral.(My dad's family is buried there, so my mom joins them.) Fly back Monday night. Then we fly down to FL Wed night. The memorial service is Thursday morning. Gary flies back Friday afternoon so he can have Mr. S for the weekend. I'm staying until Sunday.
Have a terrific trip, Jessica!
I hope your travels go smoothly, Sheryl.
I love runny eggs. They are great on avocado toast.
today I took the dog for a 6-mile walk in the park (she got probably 8 miles), and then I just faffed about the house, but eventually I took the Tornado out and we did some training, and then I picked up some takeout and went to dinner at a friend's house, and drank far too much wine.
Now watching Trevor Noah and thinking about all the books I want to read.
At least I have Monday off -- but I will probably do some work.
That sounds really nice Suela! I am at a dance convention (thus wide awake at 3:30am with aching feet, about to try to sleep). Throws my whole sleep schedule off (and I don’t have Monday off) but so worth it.
I like the yolk only to be runny. I do not enjoy gelatinous whites.
This, I think.
Now that I like eggs.
I would always rather celebrate October Thanksgiving than that meathead Christopher Columbus, so I'll say to all of our Canadian and Canadian-adjacent Buffistas: Happy Thanksgiving. May your harvests (both literal and metaphorical) be fruitful, and may you enjoy this year's colourful leaf-jumping and that first scent of winter-to-come on the air.
Aw, that's a nice thought, even though I'm not thankful right now.(also, not Canadian--maybe that's all right, then.)
