And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Sheryl, I'm sorry.

Condolences Sheryl.

I made it (along with a huge number of other seattlites) to Reno! It is a big (800 people!) dance convention and the 50th anniversary gay rodeo. So lots of country gays here now. I made it to about 12:30 dancing but although I could probably stay away a while, my tummy is a bit unhappy and my feet hurt, so best to save some for tomorrow (and try to sleep in a bit!)

Our wings are not tired.

Is it any surprise that the administration would not issue congratulations to Machado? After the selection of María Corina Machado was announced, the White House communications director, Steven Cheung, said, “The Nobel Committee proved they place politics over peace.” Personally, I hope it was a triple slap in the face to choose a Venezuelan woman. Also, of course, she actually deserves acknowledgement for her efforts.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

She supports Trump and wants him to start a war in Venezuela. So, while happy he did not get it, it’s a not great selection.

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, I get that, but still a more legit choice than Trump. The choice to bomb Venezuelan boats is some super scary stuff.

Thrive to spite them

So I stayed home from work yesterday my stomach is back to all the extra gas and issues. I don't know what I did. But I barely made it through work Wed and spent way too much time in the restroom. And Tuesday night I was up with the stomach spasms (I forgot I would take my medicine every four hours I thought it was 8).

And yesterday there was no one in the morning on my team. Normally I would have forced myself to go in but I'm feeling tired and kinda burnt out and the 18th starts my first vacation in 2 years

Of course the store manager said something about how often I've been missing a day a week. Which I know and I don't want to deal with. I'm not happy about it but that's why I have this intermittent leave. I didn't really say anything except I didn't think anyone would want me around yesterday. I was going to approach him with an issue with a coworker but I'm going to wait until after my vacation. I don't think that he will try to penalize me in any way for my approved medical accomodation (since he can't and he hasn't done that for anyone else ). He has a very brusque manner at times so I think he was just expressing frustration about not having someone who can be reliable.

And my new work phone is missing .
