Yay a+ on the colonoscopy prep. I didn't do well with that but it worked out.
We have Comicon'd. Well the one day version and it was so small. And we forgot to bring M's comics that had art work by Michael Watkins to get signed. BUT we got some of his prints. There were cool costumes . I saw a couple of coworkers. I got some cool art.
Including a drawing done by the 9 or 10 year old kid. He was selling drawings he had already done for $2 or commissions for $5. I showed him a picture of the Dinobot we had and he did it.
This awesome artist [link] who has this whole concept of Portsmith Aeroship Building . Based on Portsmith ship building. It's an amazing concept that needs a comic book or anime or something. The Aeroships look like warships and it's kind of retro future/steampunk and Tuskagee Airman inspired. And Rainy Workshop has this photobooth drawings. I didn't take this picture of the set up but she was a cardboard setup like she was this autotomon and you put in a coin she made and then she drew the picture and pushed it through the slot. $5 per person it was a steal
And then the artist I saw last year at the Game con that had the gilded/gold flame/glitter prints that I wanted so bad but I didn't . I splurged. He had majorly knocked down the price so I got Storm . And a cool Spider man print.
I also wore some jewelry. I realized I never really do and why not for Comicon? So I dug up the ear cuff I bought last year, some dragonfly necklaces and some bracelets. And then I wished I had some lipstick or tinted lip balm. I think it's because I have my hair cut and I'm feeling more like myself and more like I care about how I'm dressing and what I want to wear. I realized I pretty much only have clothes for work and a few summer tops. And sneakers and two pairs of sandals and I want ...you know...outfits. I
Pics of the artwork are on my Facebook/IG
