I just accidentally put on a really cute outfit so now I’m feeling like I need to upgrade my plans for the day.
Which OK I do actually have plans for a nice late lunch with a friend which is the whole reason I changed in the first place.
Two great restaurants in my old neighborhood are closing this weekend so today is a four course menu at Heritage Restaurant and Caviar Bar [link]
Tomorrow is drinks and burgers at Twisted Spoke, [link] a biker bar that’s been there for 30-some years, only one of who’s claims to fame is the Saturday night midnight to 3 AM Smut & Eggs special, where you can get late night brunch accompanied by 70s porn on the TVs. I have no idea the origin of that tradition.
