Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ugh. i bought a new cellphone in March, and last night I realized the charging cable wasn't connecting: the charging port is broken.

Ugh, indeed! I hate that shit. My previous iPhone was always getting clogged in the port through pocket lint. (Apparently I have filthy pockets? IDK)

I was so happy when I got a newer iPhone and the charger is a magnet that attaches to the back.

Matilda made it home safely. They went to see Zach Bryan at the Oakland Coliseum - which is apparently the biggest show he's ever done. He was quite humble about it, but he seems to have ascended very quickly to an arena level act.

Fog's rolling in this morning. Will have to hit the stadium for steps early today since we're getting into events/camps/graduations season and it will be closed more often.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Took Tilly for a jog-walk-jog in the redwoods, and did some recall work with her on a long line. She's generally pretty good on her recall, except for some reason when she's in the backyard, and then she just gives me a stare. I have already signed her up for obedience class starting at the end of the month.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good girl, Tilly!

Did my run early today after several days of not.

Which is good because the stadium is closed all week for graduations, including Matilda's on Tuesday.

The fog is in retreat and blue skies have returned. More of a pale blue summery sky than the deeper blue of a San Francisco winter sky.

Haha sounds a lot like my dog. If I want him to come inside he looks at me like I’m spouting crazy things he’s never heard. But elsewhere he’s great.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Hello lovely people, I am at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party and have been peopling amongst strangers (who all know things about me and my kids) for close to four hours and I am DONE. So I'm hiding on the screened in porch and telling anyone who asks it's because of the mosquitos.

(Which is not a total lie, DC mosquitoes are vicious and I think they've missed having me around.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

CFM: I choose the bear.

Well played.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am offended by the reality that I need to work today. This may have to do with the fact that it was a super busy weekend and that I didn't have almost any Staring into the Void/Netflix/not doing anything time, but I do not like.
