this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Chewy ginger candy: [link]

Hard ginger candy: [link]

MAXIMUM GINGER chewy lozenge: [link]

But also ask your doctor if they'll prescribe Zofran (ondansetron) for you. That really helps.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I just get candied ginger. The hard candy might work better for sucking on over a long time though.

When I was on 30 mg of Celexa with UHG I took one and a half 20 mg pills. Now that I’m with CIGNA I have to do the two prescription thing with a 20 and a 10.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Candied ginger is great.

Huffing ginger in any form can be helpful.

Stirring this into seltzer at various strengths is a big hit 'round here: [link] It also makes its way into cream of rice when not much food feels like staying down.

You can also keep alcohol wipes handy. If you rip one open under your nose and take a good hard whiff it can stop vomiting in its tracks. My aunt the nurse taught me that. It doesn't work forever, but it'll keep someone from booting on you or while you're moving them to a preferred booting locale.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I do like the Gin-Gins hard candies that Steph linked.

I also like these, from Tummydrops: [link]

Always Anti-fascist!

I should probably try this. Any time I get any way under the weather, my system at least debates a vomit. Maybe my stomach's like Dawn all "GET OUT! GET OUT!"

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The ginger mints from Trader Joe’s are very good, and I recently found ginger chews at the Dollar Store that are also very nice.

I strongly recommend getting a few rx meds from your doctor. Like maybe it won’t be an issue but maybe you can head it all off with a tiny number of pills.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My doctor's pretty responsive, so if I have problems I can get an Rx from him quickly.

He also the other day, said without prompting, that height didn't really affect most things, and I started with, "Except BMI," and he joined in, "which is bullshit."

Sounds like the doctor version of a keeper.
