So there is something I can do, besides scream like a woman?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is ridiculous, Jen!

Vibes to Tim!!

Jen I have to do that with my antidepressant, fill it as two separate doses and pay twice. It’s obnoxious but only like $20 so not the worst. Still rude though, but since my migraine meds (old and generic!) are $180 it’s not tops on my list.

Yeah -- if they weren't charging me so much per Rx, I'd deal. And still grumble, but I'd deal. But, also, the fact that I'm not feeling ANY different without the meds for two weeks means I should revisit with my doc anyway, I guess.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Cancer Begone! All the vibes!

All the cancer was not removed, because, to quote the surgeon, "We can't remove something we can't see." The ENT hasn't been able to get visual confirmation of the cancer in Tim's throat, and that held true today. He took several samples for biopsy from around the area that lit up on the PET scan, but he said they may come back negative. One possibility is that when the weird neck lumps were removed (those lumps turned out to be lymph nodes), virtually all the cancer was removed. It sounds like the plan will be to target a minuscule area with radiation, but we won't know that until the meeting with the oncology team next week.

And, again, the type of cancer Tim has is very very susceptible to radiation, so whatever is still there is likely to get nuked back to hell.

For now, Tim's throat feels sore from being poked and scraped, and he's eating yogurt and counting the minutes until his next percocet dose.

Bonus: Less hip pain for Teppy too.

Yessssssss.

Yay yogurt and percocet, and I hope the minuscule radiation (or whatever plan gets planned) does the job as easily as possible
