Yikes, Atropa -- I'm glad you're okay, but those are freaky symptoms! I definitely would have gone to the ER, too.
More onerosity finished and/or under way:
Zepbound ordered
Sent message to OB/GYN to ask if I need to be tested/vaccinated for HPV because of Tim's exciting new cancer
Still need to reschedule colonoscopy b/c I accidentally scheduled it the same day as PT (and while I know how important a colonoscopy is, PT appointments are hard to come by—they're seriously overbooked—and my right hip/quad/knee pain is pretty bad)
And, you know, gotta keep working
I'm about to start an hour-long team agreement review meeting. Weep for me.
Weeping for you, Gud, and
kermit waving!!!
Oy, Gud. I'm seeing this more than hour after that so I hope it went okay and weeping (and teh need for weeping) was minimal
I am just not that into today. I only have one meeting scheduled and it's not a bad one, but meh
A coworker just stopped by to say tomorrow is her last day, so that's sad, although hopefully a good move for her. She used to be in our department so it feels like we are shrinking even more, although she has actually been in another department for years already
Timelies all!
Healing ~ma for Tim.
I had a followup fasting blood draw on Monday, and the phlebotomist didn't do a great job. I have a yellowing bruise on the inside of my elbow, with two reddish marks in the center. Doesn't hurt, but is quite annoying.

Temporary body art, but not the fun kind.
All phlebotomists are not created equal. A good one is a wonderful thing.
In historical Buffista birthday news, three members were born on this day. Katerina Bee, high plains grifter, and Ms. Havisham. Sending wishes that they are well and enjoying their day.
Yikes Atropa, glad it worked out.
Dog escape artists are not good, though at least he knows his way home?
Yesterday I noticed a hawk in a tree across the street, calling to another nearby hawk who wasn't visible. Then I saw a squirrel charge at the hawk and chase it off the branch it had been perched on. I assume a mama squirrel defending a nest with kits, though this is late in the year for them.
Urban wildlife report: the mourning doves who nest above our back door have one baby who, I think is about to fledge (just heard a crow out there squawking so I hope the dove baby is still ok…circle of life). And I have a bunch of black swallowtail caterpillars on my parsley plant!
