Fuck cancer

I got x-rays and the results are already back and show moderate osteoarthritis in my right hip, which can apparently fuck up my quad muscle because the pain will travel to the quad muscles and also if my gait was weird due to hip pain, that would add extra pain.

So I have a referral to PT for that, and I’m going to start taking Zepbound because extra weight on my hip isn’t doing the hip any favors. Our insurance still refuses to cover GLP-1 meds for weight loss, so I'm looking at Lilly Direct, which lets your doctor send the Rx to them and the patient pays $350-$500 a month, which is more than I would like, but less than if I just had to pay fully out of pocket.

Oddly, my left hip is absolutely fine, not even minor osteoarthritis.

Fuck! I hate this news though I am hopeful about the prognosis.

Even simple treatment is harder than "Wow, weren't we silly to worry about that thing on your neck?" but I wish Tim the best. I have to start my day hours early, ironically so that Mom can take a human-rights training for attendants.(Don't withhold food or keep me in a closet. There, you've had it and I've saved you three hours.) My boss has a new assistant. Which makes sense but she's kind of frosty so I think I hate her so far(Although I guess I'd even hate her MORE if she was, like, Instant Homegirl, but it'd be more fun to complain about "what is this small-b bitch's problem?!" than contemplate my dismal phone contact rate.

Hips are stupid. Not as stupid as knees, but still stupid.

I am now officially unemployed. Not a fan. I have loads of applications out, and way more severance than the last time this happened. But still. This is completely unnecessary; it seems entirely due to a bunch of people getting mad that their fifth grade teachers penalized them for not doing their homework, and now they’re taking their vengeance out on any organization that has more than three employees who can use “whom” properly in a sentence. Fuck them. I’d say they should get therapy, but that would involve thinking and introspection, so it’ll never happen.
