Sorry about Tim's news, Steph. May treatment be quick and effective.

I think my response to people torching pride flags would be setting some out as bait and making it a teachable moment. I hear pain is the best teacher.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That sucks, Steph. Especially when they're like, it's almost certainly benign! And then it wasn't.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Fucking hell, Tep. But I'm glad to hear of the high survival rate.

And fuck the pride flag arsonist, what the hell is wrong with people?! JFC

I very much hope there is no stomach punching

Our wings are not tired.

Oh man, I hope that shitty day turns in another direction quickly. Quick and complete recovery~ma to Tim.

Aw Teppy, I'm sorry. This is a rough go.

If he goes through a popsicle phase (seems its a thing) I make them with this stuff so they're full of protein. There are other brands with assorted supplements and flavors, but this is the fave: [link]

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I didn’t get punched in the stomach. I did get x-rays taken of my misbehaving leg.

Now I’m back home and trying to process. This mostly involves weeping, but also yelling. The cat is not a fan.

Weeping and yelling sounds right. Sorry to MurderBiscuit, but he's got coping mechanisms that aren't fun for you, too

In totally frivolous news: my company keeps sending me emails about exclusive offers from the winery portion of the business and the latest one involves a bottle of wine for the low, low price of $190. The description (lush notes of blackberry cassis, ripe plum, graham cracker, and subtle peppery highlights) does sound tasty but I cannot even imagine how delicious a wine would have to be to justify spending that much. Especially as I have not opened one of the many (I actually just found a case of wine I forgot I had stashed in the garage and hope isn't ruined) bottles I already own in weeks, maybe months...

Punishingly Intricate

Fucking cancer! I’m so glad it looks very treatable and a plan is in place.

As much as I love wine, I have discovered that I am just as happy drinking it from a box as I am with a fancy vintage. Hence, buying boxed wine.
