Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

Prince of Tides is good, but I wouldn't give it to everyone. A little happier than I expected about this verdict.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I didn’t think it would be such a quick verdict!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Either The Night Circus

Can confirm.

Guilty on all 34 counts.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Is there a helpful article out there that explains the possibility of the guilty (GUILTY! GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY!) verdicts leading to an orange jumpsuit perp walk?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Teppy, you literally judged a book by its cover? Yeah, your chops will be busted for that one.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Guilty on all 34 counts.

If only he would suffer some consequence for being such a Felonious fucker. But he won't go to jail and it won't prevent him from running for President.

I don't think there's any chance of that. With appeals, this is long from over.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

And even though I do still love Prince of Tides, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to people, because it falls squarely in the category of books I like to call "Holy Shit This Family Is Severely Fucked Up." And while I tend to like those books, I never assume other people will.

For the three seconds before my phone list up with breaking news alerts, I did think Tom was responding oddly strongly to this.

Ha! Same.

I literally did. In my defense, I was 18. (That's not much of a defense, but it's better than Trump's defense.)

Snort

I'm grateful I can just listen to music and books on the way to NY instead of being on verdict watch. Hoping to leave super early morning. We shall see.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ah, guilty verdicts on 34 charges. It’s a nice day. Sentencing is scheduled for 3 days before RNC, so there are some nice optics for ya.
