All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

8.8! I hope everyone finds high ground.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks, Debet!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

People don't read. I have been a tech writer for 25+ years, and I know that. People don't read.

I just thought when I said "DON'T SEND THIS TO THE CLIENT YET," that my coworkers might read it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Glad to hear from Debet!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My sister came to look after mom so I ran away from home for a week.

First I went down the shore and spent time with my extended family in our natural habitat - crammed into a beach house. Only we weren't so crammed as this was a particularly large house which was a real treat. The weather was beautiful. The water was beautiful. Grilling abounded. Four of the cousins have twelve year old sons now and one of my uncles got a little tipsy and kept (intentionally) winding them up with double entendres. It was wonderful.

Second half of the vacation I went up to Halifax for a 30° temperature drop and some basic civil liberties. So that was fun! I visited with Anita & Bryan and Sue (totally blanking on board names) who remain delightful people.

I came back to the office on Tuesday so I missed the second shooting in seven months near my swanky midtown office. I was up in my "bad" neighborhood doing this:

The series is free, but I have a membership so I'm guaranteed a seat and, you know, supporting the arts in the nabe. Its a HamilTEN celebration - they have an interview and a song with some member(s) of the original Broadway cast and show some other project of theirs on the 50 foot screen. Its solidly amazing.

Our wings are not tired.

People don't read.

The manager of my condo sent me a notice to proofread before she sent it to all the owners. I wrote back - I think it would be clearer if you phrased it like this... Yes, she sent out the email blast with my correction, including, I think it would be clearer if you phrased it like this. Sigh.

I reassured her that no one reads the management emails anyway.

Trudy, if you get another chance to escape this summer, come to Otter Lake!

Oh man, people not reading emails makes me crazy—especially with all the “this meeting could’ve been an email” nonsense—sure, if you actually read and responded to your emails it could!!

Trudy that sounds like a great vacation!

I am stumped by where I ended up in wordle right now. I have a few letters but can’t even figure out a word to guess, with them where they are. I expect it’ll be obvious once I figure it out but eesh. And spelling bee has too many possible words today. I’ve guessed a bunch and am still only at “nice”!
