Glad it went well, Steph! Continued benign ~ma.

I am waiting to get an echo to see how my ejection fraction is holding up. Last one a couple years ago was good, so I'm hoping for same or better this year.

I want to do something today, but I haven't figured out what yet.

Oh, and since we switched insurance with DH's new job, I was declined for Ozempic -- so we're going to talk about Wegovy and Zepbound since they are approved for chronic weight management with at least one co-morbidity, and I'm still JUST at the "overweight" BMI even after 29 lb. loss. I feel like I have a decent shot. Also, I hate insurance games.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

That's "funny," my insurance won't cover Zepbound even though it's approved for severe sleep apnea. But for diabetes, they'll approve Ozempic without a thought.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I have the distinct impression insurance companies use some big spinner wheel from a game show to determine whether or not they'll approve a given medication or procedure.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am a 17 year old boy and

ejection fraction

Sounds close enough to something sexual to have me making giggle.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay, we made it home by 10:40, so I missed my goal of asleep by 10 a.m. And now I'm not quite sleepy enough to try to nap. I suspect I'll be ready for a nap after lunch, though.

Ha, ha, ha! I see what you mean.

I decided breakfast out would be fun, though it's actually more like brunch, I guess. Even eating outside because it's pleasant, breezy and not very humid.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ooof, we have to be at the hospital at 6 am tomorrow.

I hope getting there early means as little waiting around as possible and that everything comes back very boring and benign!

It's such a racket, Dana. Effing effers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The surgeon said it was actually 2 distinct lumps instead of 1, but said their appearance was more on the benign side, but obviously they won’t know for sure until the lumps are biopsied.

I hope you get to call him Lumpy Space Princess for a while.

I desperately need to vacuum and it's not even a task I especially dislike. And yet, the housework inertia has me in its grip.
