It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

I do so many varieties of puzzles that I have a deal with Spelling Bee. I do 10 words and move along. I can't justify spending any more time on that one. It does not spark that much joy. Ten and done.

You know, I have never considered whether Yolo County had a department of tourism before. I mean, I go there for stuff but I don't need to be advertised to for it, it's right there. Surely they must have something, though. I'm guessing their signs get stolen a lot

I took today off and am cleaning the house. It’s so humid that I am taking breaks to keep from getting sweaty as I don’t want to need another shower.
